Way 3: See Your Advantage as Not a Real Advantage

People decide to view their advantage like it’s not an advantage at all. Those with the advantage of having the ability to speak will help the rest of the group, but not put too much energy into it. If their advantage gives them more free time, they will spend it having fun or feeling safe, and not trying to improve themselves.

People who hold this view tend to say things like: “I didn’t ask for this ability,” “I just worry about myself, nothing wrong with that,” or “I worked hard for what I got. If they want it, they should work hard too.”

Who uses this way? Workers would use it the most. Learners and Pretending People would too.
