Trying to Make Workers Happy

Sometimes, Workers are not smart enough to know what’s going on inside you and how that will affect how pleased they are with you in the future. If you plan on doing something that you hope will make them very proud of you someday, you might have to do some things to make them a bit mad or sad now. Even if you reach your goals, they may never realize those times they were mad or sad were traded for making them really happy later.

A graph showing that, by virtue of being a Learner, leads you to making your careteakers mad, which then leads to making them very happy and proud. It also shows that most caretakers see these as seprate events and unconnected. It poses the question that if your caretaker became smart enough to see the connection, would they have wannted you to make their past self sad?

If your caretakers don’t seem to realize you are making them sad/mad for a very good reason, you have two options:

  1. Keep on making them a little sad so they can be very happy later.
  2. Only make them a little happy later.

If they show any progress in self-improvement, once they get closer to being a Self Guider, then they might understand why you had to do those things, and you may want to choose option 1 more. If they show very little progress, maybe choose option 2 more.

You might get very frustrated trying to figure out why a Worker doesn’t tell you what they know, in order to help you. It might save them from being mad at you. Just remember, they might not know why they do the things they do, and even if they did, they would not know how to put it into words to tell you.
